Medical Evaluation and Treatment

A medical evaluation by a Developmental Pediatrician is a part of the Burrell Autism Center Multidisciplinary
Evaluation. The Developmental Pediatrician may recommend further medical testing or genetic testing as a result
of the evaluation. The Developmental Pediatrician may provide medication management, consult with the
child’s pediatrician about medication, or refer the child to a psychiatrist for further evaluation.
