Friends of the Burrell Autism Center
The Friends of the Burrell Autism Center is dedicated to increasing community awareness of autism and developing as well as providing
resources and support to families affected by autism. The Mission of the Friends of the Burrell Autism Center is to empower families to
assist their child in reaching his or her highest potential through education, community resources and fundraising.
As a non-revenue producing organization, Friends of the Burrell Autism Center relies entirely on grants and gifts from the
community for our support. Such contributions enable us to screen children, provide parent education, and reach out to elected
officials to advocate for Autism research, and funding. Gifts provide options for Southwest Missouri children who are referred
for diagnosis and treatment across a range of Autism spectrum disorders. Donations to Friends of the Burrell Autism Center
directly reach children and families who need access to diagnosis and treatment options.

Our supporters include individuals, professional associations, corporations, foundations, religious organizations and community
groups. In addition to financial contributions, Friends of the Burrell Autism Center is frequently the recipient of in-kind goods
and services. Gifts of time, talent and treasure all help further our efforts to help families understand their child’s unique
needs and abilities and help us provide service to children. We deeply appreciate the dedication and support of all our donors.
The Friends of the Burrell Autism Center adheres to the highest business and accounting standards. Tax-deductible gifts to our
program are used to support children and families in Southwest Missouri. Thank you for making a difference in their lives!
